Why Would Anyone Want an A4 Presentation?
Most decks live on screens, but plenty of real work still ends up on paper. Handouts for a training session, printed reports for a board meeting, school assignments, and one-page summaries all sit more comfortably in A4 proportions than in widescreen. Text-heavy content also benefits from the taller page, since paragraphs and lists get room to breathe instead of being squeezed into a short, wide frame.
A4 output saves you a common headache too. Anyone who has printed a 16:9 deck knows the result: awkward margins, shrunken text, and wasted space at the top and bottom of every sheet. Slides generated in A4 from the start print exactly as they appear.
How to Generate an A4 PPT in AiPPT Flow
Step 1: Sign in. Log in to your AiPPT.com account and open AiPPT Flow. The dashboard appears right after login.
Step 2: Find the Page Style setting. Among the options on the dashboard, look for Page Style. Flow offers a Default fluid layout, Traditional 16:9, and Tall 4:3, plus a Document group containing a fluid Default, US Letter, and A4.
Step 3: Select A4. Click the A4 option under Document. Every page the AI generates will now follow A4 proportions.
Step 4: Set up the rest of your deck. Enter your topic, pick your other preferences, and start the generation.
Step 5: Download. Once the deck looks right, export it as a PPT file, ready to present or send to a printer.
Other Options Worth Setting Before You Generate
The Page Style picker is one of several controls on the Flow dashboard, and a minute spent on the others pays off in the final result:
Card Count sets how many slides the AI produces, so you can match the deck length to your speaking time or page budget.
Language lets you generate in any of several dozen languages, independent of the language you type your prompt in.
Tone shapes the writing style. Choose from Professional, Formal, Informal, Persuasive, Inspiring, or Instructive depending on how you want to sound.
Scenario tells the AI what kind of document this is: Analysis Report, Teaching and Training, Promotional Materials, Public Speeches, Online Media, or Announcements.
Audience tunes the content for who will read it, whether that's Business contacts, Investors, Teachers, Students, Supervisors, or Interviewers.
Content Amount controls how much text lands on each page, from Concise through Moderate to Detailed. For A4 documents meant to be read rather than presented, Detailed often works best.
A4, US Letter, or Fluid: Which Document Style Should You Pick?
The choice mostly comes down to where your pages will end up. A4 is the international paper standard, used across Europe, Asia, and most of the world. US Letter is the norm in the United States and Canada, slightly wider and shorter than A4. The fluid Default adapts its length to your content, which suits documents that will only ever be read on screen. If your deck is headed for a printer, match the style to the paper in the tray.
Can I Convert an Existing 16:9 Deck to A4?
The cleanest route is regeneration. Head back to the Flow dashboard, switch the Page Style to A4, and generate again. The AI rebuilds your content to fit the new proportions properly, which beats stretching or cropping slides that were designed for a different shape.
